Lumen Christi is a charming retreat house in Benson, Vermont. Nestled on 31 acres of secluded hillside, the retreat house overlooks pastures, a pond and natural wooded areas. Formerly a Benedictine monastery, it is now operated by the Institute for Spiritual Development, a separately incorporated ministry of the Sisters of Mercy Northeast Community.

The facility accommodates groups of up to 20 people for day programs, 10 persons for guided retreats (double occupancy), and 6 private rooms for directed retreats, solitude days and private retreats.

Lumen Christi is also available for self-contained groups who seek a serene setting and time for team building, renewal and visioning for the enhancement, well-being and effectiveness of members and staff. The facility and surrounding grounds are a smoke free environment.
